Triumph is the British motorcycle company who were actually started by a German immigrant by the name of Siegfried Bettmann. Bettmann came to Coventry from Nuremberg at the tender age to twenty and was a bicycle designer who also imported sewing machines. He decided that he needed a more universal name and settled on the Triumph cycle Company and a year later got backing from Dunlop. By 1902 the company produced it’s first motorcycle.
Over the years Triumph has had its ups and downs and has changed ownership many times but it remains the classic British motorcycle. Garlands of Pembrokeshire are an authorised dealer of the bike and are proud to be known as so. We buy and sell Triumph bikes in any condition as we do recondition all models and export all over the world to collectors and enthusiasts.
